　"Kumano Brush" is a traditional craft designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.

In 1975, Kumano brushes were the first in the calligraphy industry to be designated a "traditional craft" by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.

In December 2004, the Kumano Brush Business Cooperative Association obtained a collective trademark, which was rare nationwide at the time.
Since this is a trademark written in standard characters, it applies to all characters that can be pronounced as "Kumano Fude, Kumano Hitsu, Kumano."

This unified brand mark is the initial letter "K" of KUMANO FUDE, and the three lines represent the worlds of calligraphy (black), makeup (red), and painting (yellow), while the movement signifies cooperation and growth.
It also symbolizes the three resources that produce Kumano brushes: "region," "people," and "tradition." Its dynamic movement conveys the meaning of newness and evolution.

By displaying a unified brand mark on our products, we aim to make it easy for consumers to recognize that our products are Kumano brushes, and to differentiate them from other brushes.
Furthermore, based on the technical capabilities, quality, and reliability that have been cultivated in the Kumano region up to now, manufacturers are united in their aim to produce even better brushes.
